The pane is the same in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook: the same account as on Roona, the same settings, the same way of asking. You learn it once. What changes is what it reads and what it writes: a range of cells, a document, a set of slides, a message.
Not a pasted extract: the real values and formulas in a range, the outline and styles of a document, the structure of a presentation, the message displayed in Outlook. You can say “summarise section 3” or “redo the total of this column” without showing Roona anything else.
A formula in the cell, a paragraph in the document’s own style, a slide in the file’s theme, a reply in an Outlook window. Nothing to paste back, nothing to reformat. Every element remains an ordinary Office object, which you edit as you always have.
Your quotes, your terms, your reports, once dropped into Roona, are available from all four apps. A figure from the annual report in a cell, a lead time from your terms and conditions in an email, a reference in a slide: Roona finds it and tells you where it came from.
Deleting rows, a sheet, a paragraph, a slide: the pane asks first. An email stays a draft until you have clicked. Everything else is written in front of you and can be undone. Roona speeds things up, you stay in charge.

Installation is done from the Integrations page in Roona: one card per app, with the address to copy and a step-by-step guide, then a few clicks in the app itself. There is no program to install on your computer. In some companies the Microsoft 365 administrator locks the adding of add-ins: in that case the card shows the steps to pass on to them.
Three things. The pane reads the file itself, values, formulas, outline, styles, slides, where a tab only receives what you paste. It writes into the file, in your formats, where a tab hands you back text to paste in and reformat. And it has access to your company memory. What the tab keeps for itself: producing a whole file from scratch without opening Office. That is what the RoonaWorks app does with its document generators, included in the same subscription.
Roona writes what you ask, in front of you, and you can undo it. Anything that deletes or replaces (rows, columns, a sheet, a paragraph, a slide) goes through a confirmation in the pane. In Outlook, no message goes out without your click. If you trust it for a session, an autonomous mode avoids repeated confirmations; deleting a sheet is always confirmed by hand.
Only what you submit to the pane is transmitted, encrypted, to servers located in Europe. An email filed in your memory is encrypted in your browser before it leaves, with one key per document. Your data is never used to train an AI model, the list of subcontractors is public, and you can delete your account entirely. Roona is built in Europe and complies with the GDPR and the EU AI Act.
