Excel can do almost anything, provided you know its syntax. That is where most people stop: they know what they want to see in the sheet, not how to write it. Roona works the other way round. It opens as a pane to the right of your spreadsheet, reads the range you have selected, understands the structure of the workbook, then writes what is needed to reach the result: a formula in the cell, a complete table, a currency format, a chart. You never leave Excel and you never retype a thing. It works in plain English, writes SUM, IF or VLOOKUP exactly as your Excel expects them, and explains a formula you do not understand. Anything that deletes or replaces goes through a confirmation; the rest is written in front of you and can be undone. It is an AI for Excel built for a small business: quote tracking, job schedules, cash flow, price lists, chasing client payments.
You ask: A quote tracker: number, client, date, net amount, VAT, gross and status, with a total at the bottom.
Roona delivers: Roona creates the table in the sheet, writes the gross formula from the net, places SUM on the total row, formats the amounts as currency and adds a drop-down list for the status: sent, accepted, declined.
You ask: A job schedule by trade, with start, finish, duration and progress.
Roona delivers: One row per trade, the duration calculated from the two dates, the dates in your regional format, a coloured header row and progress that turns green at 100%. A total row at the bottom gives the cumulative duration with SUM.

Highlight a range and ask your question. Roona reads the real values and formulas there, not an extract, along with the sheet name. If you select nothing, it goes through the workbook on its own: the sheets, the tables, the named ranges, the charts. Useful when you inherit a file you did not build.
Values, a formula, a table of two hundred rows: everything goes straight into the sheet, at the spot you point to. Roona inserts or deletes rows and columns, copies and moves blocks, creates or renames a sheet. You watch the answer being written while it works, and a long request, such as a complete dashboard, runs through to the end without you having to prompt it again.
Roona writes SUM, IF and VLOOKUP with the comma as argument separator, as an English-language Excel expects them, and switches to the localised function names and separator if your Excel is set to another language. Currency to two decimal places, percentages, dates in your regional format, a coloured header row, borders, column widths adjusted. Roona applies a table style, conditional formatting that turns red below a threshold, or a drop-down list for the status column.
Column, bar, line, pie, scatter: Roona picks the chart that suits your figures and places it beside the table. It also creates a pivot table from your selection, sorts, filters, groups, and does a find-and-replace across the whole sheet.
Clearing a range, deleting rows, columns or a sheet: the pane asks you first. Deleting a sheet is always confirmed by hand. For a complete rebuild, Roona works on a copy of the sheet and offers to delete the old one at the end. You can also ask it to lock the formula cells and protect the sheet.

You do not need to know SUM, IF or VLOOKUP: you describe the calculation, Roona writes it, you read it over.
Yes. In an empty workbook, describe what you want to track: Roona creates the columns, the calculations, the formatting and the chart in a single request. In the language of your Excel. An English-language Excel gets SUM, IF, VLOOKUP with the comma as separator; an Excel set to another language gets the same formulas in its own syntax, localised function names and semicolon included. You have nothing to translate.
Roona writes what you ask, in front of you, and you can undo it. Anything that deletes or replaces (clearing a range, deleting rows, columns or a sheet) first goes through a confirmation bar in the pane. If you trust it for a session, an autonomous mode avoids repeated confirmations, except for deleting a sheet, which is always confirmed by hand.

No. Roona works with the cells, the formulas, the formats, the charts and the pivot tables of your workbook. It does not write macros and does not plug into an external database. On the other hand, if you have dropped your documents into your company memory, it can look up a figure there and write it into the sheet.
Yes, on the figures side. Roona spots the overdue invoices in your tracker, highlights them with conditional formatting and lists them in the pane. To write and send the reminder, the Roona pane in Outlook prepares the message in your drafts; you read it over before sending.
Only what you submit to the pane is transmitted, encrypted, to servers located in Europe, to produce the answer. Your data is never used to train an AI model, and you can remove the add-in whenever you like without losing anything from your files.
