An AI for writing a Word document usually hands you a block of plain text to paste, then a quarter of an hour spent giving it the shape of the rest. Roona works inside the file. It reads what is already written, sees the outline of headings and the styles in use, then writes at the spot you point to: at the cursor, at the end, or in place of the passage you have highlighted. The text arrives with your document’s real styles, Heading 1, Normal, Quote, not bold applied by hand. You ask it to write a letter, rephrase three paragraphs, turn notes into minutes, generate a table of contents, or format a whole document received as raw text. It counts words too, useful when a tender response is limited to two pages. What it produces remains an ordinary Word document, editable like yours, and nothing you have written disappears without your say-so.

Your terms and conditions, your rates, your brochure: if you have dropped them into your company memory, Roona draws on them while writing. The letter quotes the right lead time, the quote picks up your usual wording, without you having to look them up.
Replacing a highlighted passage is what you asked for. Deleting a paragraph goes through a confirmation in the pane. A version you do not like can be undone. The document stays yours: an ordinary Word file, with no frozen text and no locked blocks.

Open your contract template, highlight the passages to adapt and set out the client, the subject and the terms. Roona rewrites those passages in place and leaves the rest of the contract intact. Your template is the reference; it is adapted, not replaced.
Yes. Roona reads the open document and gives you a summary in the pane, or inserts it where you want, as an introductory standfirst for instance. You can target a specific part: “summarise chapter 2 in ten lines”. It knows the outline, so it knows where the chapter starts and where it ends.
Roona writes with the styles of the open document: if you work in your company template, the text arrives in your fonts, your heading colours and your spacing. If your template contains a logo and a footer, they stay in place: it writes in the document, it does not recreate it. You choose the tone, formal or direct, and you keep the last word on every sentence.
Not from the Word pane. That is the job of Roona’s presentation generator, in the app, which accepts a Word document as input and draws an outline and slides from it. The Word add-in works in the open document.
Yes, if you ask clearly: Roona can replace the whole body of the document with a new version, useful for starting again from a clean draft or for turning text received as a jumble into a structured document. For everything else it works passage by passage, and whatever is deleted goes through a confirmation.
Word on Windows, Word on Mac and Word on the web. The installation guide covers all three, and the pane is the same.
Only what you submit to the pane is transmitted, encrypted, to servers located in Europe, to produce the answer. Your documents are never used to train an AI model. You can remove the add-in whenever you like, your files stay as they are.
