Lawyers: three hundred pages, one sourced case summary

An exhibit arrives from opposing counsel, the exhibit list is out of date, and the case summary still has no first line. You upload the exhibits: Roona drafts the summary in your template, every fact with its exhibit and page, prepares the client reply in your drafts and highlights the matters where time spent is drifting. The legal analysis, the advice and the signature stay with the lawyer.

The tools that count in a law firm

A firm sells advice, not hours of formatting. Between summarising a three hundred page file, the letters, the chasers for missing exhibits and the time tracking, writing takes the place of law. Roona takes that share back in Word, Excel and Outlook, from your templates and the exhibits you upload, citing the exhibit and the page. Roona does not give legal advice and does not plead: the analysis, the advice and the signature stay with the lawyer.

The case summary, sourced

The parties, the chronology, the key exhibits and the points in dispute, each one with its exhibit and page. The analysis stays yours.

The reply to a worried client

The reply ready in your drafts, clear and reassuring, in the firm’s tone. Nothing is sent without you.

The exhibit found

The answer cites the exhibit and the page, so you can check at source. Three hundred pages read, one answer.

How it works

  1. Open the Roona pane in Word, Outlook or Excel, or describe what you need in the app.
  2. Roona reads the selection or the exhibits you uploaded, then drafts or analyses, citing the exhibit and the page, using the templates in the firm’s memory.
  3. You read it over, you correct a sentence or a date, you ask for another version.
  4. You approve, you insert it in the document or the sheet, or you send it from Outlook. What comes back every week, you set up once, and it runs.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI for a law firm?

An assistant that hands back a finished file in your template: case summary and letter in Word, chaser and reply as drafts in Outlook, tracking highlighted in Excel, every fact cited with its exhibit and page. Roona drafts and formats; the law stays yours.

Does Roona give legal advice?

No. Roona summarises your exhibits, drafts from your instructions and finds a piece of information inside a matter. The legal analysis, the advice, the strategy and the signature stay with the lawyer. Roona does not predict the outcome of a dispute and does not assess people.

Is client confidentiality respected?

Exhibits are encrypted in your browser before they are sent, hosted in Europe, kept separate space by space and never used to train a model. You erase a matter or the whole account whenever you decide. The list of sub-processors is provided on request.

Does Roona invent case law or an exhibit?

No. Roona works from the exhibits you upload and cites the exhibit and the page so you can check. What is not in your files is not in the summary. RoonaWorks is not a case law database.

Does Roona read a three hundred page file?

Yes. Upload the exhibits into the matter memory and ask your questions: dates, amounts, undertakings, with the exhibit and the page in the answer. The case summary is then written in your template.

Does Roona turn a meeting into a written note?

Yes. Record the meeting, up to two hours, or dictate your notes afterwards. Roona turns it into an attendance note: facts reported, exhibits to request, next steps, in your template.

Does Roona work in Word and Outlook?

Yes, in a pane to the right of the open file. In Word, Roona reads the outline and the styles and drafts where you point. In Outlook, Roona reads the thread and prepares the reply as a draft, in the firm’s tone.

Can my associates and assistants use it?

Yes. Matter memory is organised into spaces, one per matter if you want, with separate access rights. The Enterprise plan, on request and priced per seat, adds the accounts, shared credits, roles and an audit log.

How much does it cost?

20 € excluding VAT per month and per account, no commitment: the assistant, document memory, the file generators, the Office add-ins and the Studio, 100 credits a month. 14-day trial, no card needed.
