Jira connected to Roona: reported problems become clean issues, without you keying them in.

Jira is an issue and development tracker. Once connected, you ask in the conversation thread, and Roona fetches what is needed, writes what you approve, and hands you the finished work.

Today, between Jira and the rest of your day, you are the one carrying things across: an address into a document, a figure into an email, a decision into a task. Each round trip takes two minutes and shows up nowhere. Connecting Jira removes the trip. Here are three ordinary moments, and what they become.

A client reports a problem by email

Roona opens the issue with the details from the message, files it in the right place, and prepares the acknowledgement.

The team stand-up

Roona reads the open issues and hands you the state of play in plain language, with no jargon.

An issue to move forward

You dictate what was done, Roona updates the issue and notifies whoever needs to know.

What Roona can do in Jira, exactly

Five actions, no more and no less. Two for reading: read an issue and search issues. Three for writing: create an issue, move an issue to another status in the workflow and update an issue. None of them can delete anything.

You stay in control

Roona announces what is about to be written before doing it, and never acts unprompted in Jira: every action starts from a request of yours, in a conversation, unless you have set up a routine yourself and fixed its time. You can remove access in one step from your account, and whatever you leave disconnected is never passed on.

How it works

  1. You sign in once, through the official Jira procedure. No password is ever passed to us.
  2. You ask for what you need in plain language. Roona picks which of the five actions to call, and in which order.
  3. Roona shows you what is about to be written, and hands you the result in the same thread.

Frequently asked questions

Can Roona change my Jira data without my knowing?

No. Every write is announced before it happens. You see what is about to be created or changed, and you can stop it.

Is my Jira data copied over to you?

No. Roona queries Jira at the moment of the task, uses the answer, and files it nowhere outside your conversation. What travels is encrypted and hosted in Europe.

How do I cut off access?

From your account, in one step, without telling us. Access is removed immediately.

Does the whole team have to connect an account?

No. Each person connects what they want, and what one person has connected does not become visible to the others. Sharing rules stay those of Jira.

Does it work with my Jira plan?

Roona uses the official Jira interfaces. If your plan opens them, the connection works. If it does not, no tool can get around that limit, ours no more than any other.
